An exhibition celebrating Penrith’s 50th anniversary as a City is on display between 22nd October and the 12th December. Starting at the Penrith Civic Centre, the exhibition will also go to St Marys, Castlereagh and Mulgoa. For dates, times, and further information go to the Penrith City Council Website. The exhibition explores our social history and what life was like in the home of a Penrith family in the 1950s and 1960s. This week we are featuring some books from the library’s collection about life in the 1950s
